JOURNAL ENTRY #12: Inviting Spring Inside - 3 Curated Collections for the Season of Renewal

In my last journal entry, I shared tips for Spring cleaning your inner self. Now that you’re refreshed, it’s time to take care of your outer world with a Spring home makeover!

Spring is a time for renewal, new life, and moving out of the darkness and into the light. A great way to embody the season is by curating your art collection to match your intentions for your home. Don’t know where to start? No worries, I’ve curated 3 Spring Collections to help jumpstart your inspiration for transitioning into the new season!

 THE DARKNESS TO LIGHT COLLECTION

Intention: “Transform”

The first collection features a mix of art that perfectly embodies the transition from Winter to Spring. The Darkness to Light Collection features:

  • “Restraints” from The Harmony Collection, a muse in the midst of untangling from what holds her back.
  • “Jardin de Flores”, from The Art School Collection a garden of life, death, and rebirth.
  • “Goddess Triumph”, a muse that faces the unknown with strength and grace.

Together these works of art beautifully celebrate the notion that Spring blooms from Winter’s bones.

THE MUSES COLLECTION

Intention: “Awaken”

The second collection brings together some of the muses of The Art School Collection. After the longest and darkest Winter, it’s time to rise towards the Spring light. The Muses Collection features:

  • “Repose” & “Resting”, tired muses taking moments to themselves.
  • “Stretching”, a muse moving out of one pose and into another.
  • “Dancing”, a muse moving to her own rhythm.
  • “Rejuvenate”, a muse basking in surrender.

Together these muses perfectly illustrate the transition from rest to awakening and invite you to rise towards the light.

THE FLORES COLLECTION

Intention: “Bloom”

The third collection highlights the beauty of coming through the other side. Flowers are Nature’s symbol of triumph in a way, so what better than florals to invite lightness into your home? The Flores Collection features:

  • “Bouquet”, a hanging canvas of a drawing of the first sign of Spring’s arrival.
  • “Fruta y Flor”, muses and nature coming together as one.
  • “Peony & petals on table”, an intricate study of one of my favorite flowers in full bloom.

Together these works of art help harmonize your space with the best of Spring!

These are just a few combinations that can help but the possibilities are endless. To make your lives even easier, all prints are now available framed, and ready to hang! Frames are pure solid wood and are available in black and white. The Art School Collection is available in a classic style frame while the Floral Drawings, Harmony, and Contemplation Collections are available in contemporary styles.
